Life As A Pro Blogger [VIDEO]

I’ve just been the video guy lately, haven’t I? ;)

Well, today I have another one for you. In this video, you’re going to take a little car trip with me.

That’s right, we’re going to hop in the car together and ride down to the post office for…. what else? To see if I have any checks waiting for me. :)

When you run an internet-based business, you do make real money. Most of it comes in online and goes directly into my account. But, some companies send me checks and, for that, I use the PO Box.

I hope you enjoy the video. I had some fun getting a little creative with iMovie. ;)

Interesting video. I see myself living a life like that, always wearing shorts and dictating my own work, and giving myself a pay raise whenever I feel like it. Just awesome.

At the moment it's freezing here in Norway, so I guess, just being able to wear shorts is what I envy the most :)

I hear ya. Even here in FL, last week was FREEZING and I missed the heat. When we see ice outside, everything closes because we collectively freak out. ;)

At the moment I'm in a chair next to the fireplace, but still freezing. It's been close to minus 20 degrees Celcius for close to two weeks. So, Florida is nothing :)

I'm looking forward to going on a holiday to Greece in May though, that's what's keeps me going.

    David,

    Thanks for the inside look.

I enjoy some of that lifestyle with my family as well, except up here in WA State it's by a fireplace and making snowmen outside (when it snows). Mountain hiking, eating dinner at the top of the Space Needle etc… it's all good stuff. :)

I always like those type of down to earth video's. It kinda gives a feeling of community. I think the trick to success for this type of social approach is to keep the video's under 10 minutes. I love the car videos, Howie Schwartz the Internet marketer does a lot of auto videos.

Great video for the pure reason it's inspired me to work even harder to attain that lifestyle.

Porsche is a huge waste of cash. Besides, I have kids (one due in 3 weeks). A Porsche isn't in the budget right now. :-)

    Shut up. ;-)

Cool. More car videos it is, then. ;-) Until the cops find me.

    Very cool life, David.

I look forward to my future looking something like this myself.

Lovin' the car by the way. It may not be a Porsche but it's nice!

I'm not huge into cars and wouldn't know what a Porsche even costs. I love the navigation system if your car too!

    Hi David,

I used to live in Sydney, Australia and now I live in Toronto, Canada. I am craving for warmer weather! This video has really inspired me to put more energy into my blog. I like the fact that you are able to work from the comfort of your own home wearing shorts and sandals and yet be able to provide a quality lifestyle for your family. That is very inspiring.

Great vid. Well my problem with checks is that I live in Asia and it would take like 60 days before it reaches me.. So as much as possible i really force companies to pay me in Paypal, lols.

Wow, that's great video. I left a corporate life a while ago, and right now, I'm trying to decide wheather or not to go back or to continue with self employment. I have to admit your video has given me a little bit of inspiration. I think your dress code is one of the best parts!! Cheers.
