Why I Simply Cannot Vote For Barack Obama

This is not a political blog, however with a pretty historic election coming up, I wanted to write up my opinion at least somewhere. I’ve been a champ (for the most part) of keeping politics off of my Twitter profile. So, at least I can vent on my own blog at least once. Here I go…

<politics>

I will be voting for John McCain for President.

It isn’t because he’s my favorite guy. He isn’t. But, it is because Barack Obama scares me.

Obama is clearly a nice guy. I really do like the man. I wish he weren’t so extremely liberal in his views on government because then I probably would vote for the guy.

Politically, I am fairly liberal when it comes to social issues. No, put more accurately, I am pretty libertarian when it comes to social issues. I say get the government off your back and let people figure it out for themselves. I see it as a testament to the fact that government is too large that we even have to worry about a politician’s views on social issues.

When it comes to fiscal issues, I am a true conservative. I believe in small government. I believe in a government that ensures the right to pursue happiness, but doesn’t guarantee it. I am a believer in personal responsibility.

Wealth Redistribution

Both of these candidates are pretty big-government guys. But, it is clear to me that Obama is the worse of the two. Obama has an agenda that will result in huge expansions of government if he has his way. I think this whole “Joe the Plumber” issue does go right to the heart of Obama’s wealth redistribution mentality. Look, I understand that our progressive tax system is inherently wealth redistribution as it is right now. I know that. But, Obama is going to make it even more pronounced. And he even wants to now give tax rebates to people who never pay taxes in the first place.

The top 10% of income earners in this country pay well over 70% of the total tax load. This wealthiest 2% thing people talk about – it is pure political spin. If you do any across the board tax cut, you’re going to benefit the richest Americans simply because they pay most of the nation’s bills! So, here comes Obama – he wants to charge MORE to those people, and then give money TO the people who either pay hardly anything as it is, or worse, pay NO TAXES. That’s pandering. That’s redistributing the wealth.

Lastly, let’s look at facts. It is primarily the top earners in this country who employ people. If you make the load too high on these people, they are going to lay off workers in order to make up costs. People like Obama don’t seem to understand this fact. This IS a trickle-down economy! I know that doesn’t sound very politically correct, but it is true. Every job I ever had (and, thank God, it wasn’t many), I was working for somebody with more money than I had.

Expanding Government Now is The Worse Thing You Could Do

This economy is under serious strain. As it is, recession looms. If you expand the size of government and, therefore, increase taxes and increase debt – it will KILL this economy and send it into a potential depression.

Especially if you target your tax increases on the people who create the jobs in this economy. That kind of tactic looks like it would almost be designed by somebody who wanted to cause a depression.

Look, if my taxes go up, I have to cut back. I would have to lay off Rich, for example. That would suck. And do you think, for a second, I’m the only guy in that position? And I’m not even in the band of people Obama would call rich! (yet)

Personal Ties

OK, it is clear that the personal ties of Obama are being brought up as political smears. But, does that mean it doesn’t matter? No, it doesn’t. They may be smear attempts, but they are true.

Obama is a likable man, but he has surrounded himself with a lot of people who aren’t. And when you see that kind of pattern, it makes you wonder if what you’re seeing in Obama is real, or just a contrived marketing image designed to win the election. People align themselves with people generally like them. When we see Ayers, Acorn and the like – and all the criss-crossing connections with these people and Obama – it should be very concerning.

A Word on Change

This whole “change” thing is one of the biggest strokes of marketing genius I’ve witnessed in a long time. It is simple and it echos a large national mood.

I want change, too. I’m frickin’ tired of President Bush. He has done a LOT of things I disagree with and, generally, I don’t believe he’s leaving this country better off than when he got into office. Good, adios to the guy. I want change, too.

And Obama is certainly going to be a change. But, I fear that people want change just for change’s sake, and are completely ignorant at the kind of change they’re electing here. Look, if I’m beating you over the head with a frying pan, stopping that and shooting you with a Glock 45 is going to be change, too. But, you probably don’t want it.

Which leads me to….

Marketing

As a guy who is interested in internet marketing, I am intrigued by the Obama campaign. They’ve been nothing short of genius. But, as any marketer will tell you, the idea is to create an image that people identify with. They’ve done that with Obama. He is a mirage. What you see is not really what you’re going to get.

Combined with that, we have a young generation who is mostly clueless about history. They are extremely susceptible to marketing, even while proclaiming they’re not. People who know little about history, as a generation, are looking to repeat it by electing Obama.

While other countries are trying to march away from socialism, this country is going right into it. And like flies, people are being led to the light. What happens when they get to that light is likely going to zap them pretty hard.

Wrap Up

As I said, I’m not a big fan of McCain. However, he is a man who has lived with honor his entire life.  Agree with him or not, McCain is not a marketing image. He is what he is and I believe he’s an honorable man. I also think that his policies, while not 100% up my alley, will handle things far better than those of a man who is clearly extremely liberal and has, quite frankly, the shortest resume of any person ever nominated by a major political party for this office.

Lastly, the Democrats may even pick up seats in Congress (the same Congress with a 9% approval rating). The idea of the Democrats holding both houses of Congress – and an extremely liberal and partisan president – that should scare the crap out of anybody. It wasn’t good when the GOP had it – why would it be good when the left has it. Checks and balances are a good thing.

Having a Democrat in office isn’t a bad thing. But, give me a moderate. Bill Clinton was pretty moderate, as an example. I’d rather have him back than Obama. Obama is FAR to the left, and that is something that, quite frankly, I don’t think this country deserves nor will do well with.

</politics>

OK, I got it out of my system. And if you disagree with me, I respect you anyway.

It’s amazing how people rationalize their thinly disguised ignorance, fear, and prejudice with their biased “facts”. If most of you would strop for a moment and sense what your spirit is telling you, you would have a starting point to identify your true motive for your opinion on these candidates. Everyone has an agenda. Their agenda is what will ultimately benefit their position usually financially. Very few care for others without expecting something back. How do we tell the difference, by the fruits of their labor. Has McCain ever walked, ate and slept among the poor? I’ve served in the military and as a community worker and in my opinion, it takes more love, decency, and leadership to volunteer to help others.

Let me ask a question, how many people even remember Bush’s promises when he ran? He ran on many conservative points. He promised to withdraw American troops from unnecessary conflicts. I am a former Marine and a Democrat yet I supported Bush on these two key promises. We all can pretty much see that he lied and in fact only used religious beliefs to further his agenda which was to further enrich himself as well as his followers. McCain was one of his followers.

McCain has been in the senate for over 30 years. Why is there no solid evidence of his effect on this country? He abandoned his wife and married a young rich girl, 17 years his junior

Also, anyone who would place someone as unprepared and stupid as Palin in the driver’s seat of this country is doing a great disservice to this country.

    Tax Plan
Is he really against Bush’s tax plans? Haven’t we tried the trickle down effect and where are we now? Corporations and the rich are becoming increasingly rich because they outsource or mechanize the jobs, making them money but increasingly destroying our job market. It is hard to believe that even at the brink of a Depression people can not see this. Especially in the tech world, so many of our jobs are now overseas. Under McCain’s plan the wealth is distributed to outside sources that allow the rich to keep as much of their money as possible. Obama is saying it should be made available to Americans. Small business will get tax breaks for hiring Americans. Jobs people Jobs!!

We will need help to stay afloat in this new economy as the rich have drained all resources and monies from us. The only way to get it back into circulation is for them to release it. Ever played MONOPOLY before?

    Healthcare Plan

On his healthcare plan, we wouldn’t use the money he proposes to give us to buy our own healthcare because our company’s plan is better but we would still get higher taxes on the company’s plan under McCain.

    Palin:

    Matanuska-Susitna College – 1 semester

Now, which team would you hire ?

    Character

Obama wins hands down. McCain is angry and mentally scarred. His war mongering ways will only lead to more wars. We cannot fight Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, Venezuela, and yes even Spain simultaneously and at this time. Obama would open doors to world allies and a new period of reconstruction in this country.

And finally, for those science fiction nuts, who compare Obama to a Christ like effect, have you seen the movie the “Omen”? Who was born into power, a military family, suffered and made deals(possibly with powers for power/riches) to avoid more torture, abandoned his wife/family and marital vows to marry a political heiress tied to money and alcohol, whose mother looks strong enough to live forever, and has a hidden birth mark on his body?

Don’t vote based on your fear and hatred of Black People, Ignorance of the facts and proven history, manipulation of the media. Pray and Hope for Change.

It is amazing to me how the ones who claim not to be racist will say shit like this: “Don’t vote based on your fear and hatred of Black People”.

There is one group crying race right now, and it is the left.

I think one person is angry and mentally scarred, and we just saw it.

    David,

You seem personally disturbed by my statement. By the use of foul language and stated identification of the “left” you display your bitterness and biased psychogenic position on this matter. BTW, I am not race baiting or hating. I am simply stating what everyone knows is a key issue in this race. Many Blacks are reacting with PRIDE for a African American/White candidate finally reaching so far. Others are reacting with PREJUDICE that an African American /White is reaching so far. We ALL should vote on what they offer America. As I stated before, I voted for Bush and I dislike Clinton but as I understand more what politics is about, I don’t fall the misdirection, fabrications and manipulations especially coming from misguided autocrats. Simply put, no one in their right mind would consider putting Palin so close to the Presidency, hence McCain is CRAZY (or maybe she is his next target for a wife)!!

    Mark,

I suggest YOU do the math. According to data released from the Latest Tax Year Released by the IRS 86% of all federal income taxes are paid by the top 25% of income earners in America. Read em and weep.

    David! David!David!

Oh how doeth my soul ache for thee!

You have grossly mistated the above mentioned report. While the report indicated that 86% of the fedreal income tax is indeed paid by the top 25% of the income earners; DAVID, those earners are people who made 62,000 and above annually. Therefore, SIR, that number does not represent the rich only. 62,000 per year IS NOT RICH that’s making it, and that is relative to where you live and work.
What YOU FAILED TO POINT OUT is that the same report indicated that those who made 365,000 and above paid only 39% of the income tax. Who paid the remainding 61%? Folks like you and I, except you make 250,000 and above.

David, know when to hold em. know when to fold em. Know when to walk away, and know when to run. Run away from McCain. These cowboy policies with Joe the plummer-who has no license and owe the government back taxes are like Sarah Palin bridge to no where. Don’t take your wonderful wife and child down that street David. You will get them no where, Fast.

Remember George W.Bush? He was going to save America. He was going to protect America from its enemies and keep us save and secure. Thus, the country went to sleep and trusted Georgie to keep them safe. The alarm bellowed in the wee morning hours and America awoke to a nightmare. We were attacked. No! it was not AlQuida. It was not Iraq. It was our Social security, 401k, pension, Bank accounts, Mortages, and loans-ALL GONE. But, Georgie is going back to CRAWFORD TEXAS TO HIS RANCH. Vote for McCain and later you will find yourself standing at the end of that famous ALASKAN ROAD with no where to go. You will now be in a Sorry and Appalling State-> Sarah Palin State.

David, I’m glad to contribute to your blog, bills and hopefully, education. Your Rosanne Barr witty comments truly are impressive, especially to armchair activist like your “guffawing” buddy ( He probably sat next to Palin in class) but do not equate to intelligent dialogue. True equality is what you really fear. Even some of those who claim they are Christians sadly believe that their faith is superior to other Christians. Thankfully, there are some like Obama, who rise above such divisive attitudes. So make your child-like one liners while your buddy preaches away, regardless, Change is coming.

yikes! this sure has been an interesting exchange of ideas to say the least. I am impressed when bloggers open up there sites to opposing ideas. I just wish the other parties had such a following, things would really be interesting then. If I could give my opinion here I would like to say that if Churches and individual Christians were all to do the right thing and take care of the poor and defenseless then Obama would have no reason to “redistribute” anything.

I can’t figure you Americans out, with only having two parties to choose from? Talk about painting yourself into a corner. To vote for; you have a 72yr. questionable old man with an inexperienced running mate almost 30 yrs. his junior. The age the average American males die at is 72yrs. …hmmm What a contrast. He should be retired; FDR was approx 63 when he died in office.
If we had this system and situation in Canada I’d sure be concerned. On the other hand you have another questionable man who would fail an American Security Clearance procedure, amongst many other little red flags, it would make me even more nervous. As well he’s getting touted by some ex President who couldn’t keep his pants done up or find the proper place for his cigars. Having a token “well meaning” 65 yr. old white guy for his running mate, I really doubt he will have any influence or impact on the President if he ends up as VP. It really is all too bizarre. You guys really need to get a better system to avoid this kind of conundrum again because every time you guys have your election we get a steady stream of thousands of thankful new immigrants.
You have to see this from the outside to understand how silly and ridiculous your whole election system looks to the outsider. You don’t leave yourself a way out, and judging from this blog you live in a constant state of fear and mistrust of each other especially during election. That’s what made the Civil War so stupid and sad. Having said all that I don’t see we’re much better in Canada except our elections are shorter and sweeter.

Wow. It’s a convention of sheeple, where the few thoughtful posters are ridiculed with infantile blather, and those doing the blathering are complimented on their stunningly unconscious comments. How impressive. Why, it’s just like high school, only even more pathetic because it’s adults engaging in that same kind of petty, brainless behavior.

You argue over stupid, meaningless issues while the people on top are f**king you in the ass. Evidently you’re too desensitized or unconscious to even know it. You’re oblivious as to what the real issues, the ones that effect your lives, even are. McCain, Obama, abortion, who pays what in taxes? Give me a break. God gave you brains, why don’t you use them? Why don’t you stop letting others tell you what’s important and what to think and think about?

I wonder, sheeple, was the brainwashing painful or painless? Does it feel good to be incapable of the tiniest shred of critical thought? How does it feel to be utterly blind to what really goes on around you? Do you really WANT to believe what you’re told, without question, as long as it supports your fears and prejudices? Will you ever wake up? Is ignorance that blissful?

And the people at the top of the food chain? They’re slapping each other on the back over how successful they’ve been at creating such an ignorant populace – YOU – and laughing their asses off at what complete fools you are.

And you? You think you’re smart. Ha. Maybe some of you are smart in the conventional sense, but you are so unconscious it takes my breath away. Most of you are only capable of repeating what you’re told. The lies you buy into without question.

Oh, never mind. Nothing going on here, folks. Nothing for you to see, please move along.

I went no further than the word ALWAYS, because that is possibly the most ignorant thing I’ve ever read. Please cite the data you used to make the statement above (how a baby ALWAYS grows into a breathing human being…your silly words, not mine). Miscarraige, much like the Jersey Devil and the Holocaust, must be a myth, eh? Everybody knows babies ALWAYS come out alive and breathing. What was I thinking?! How on Earth did I not notice?!

    Watch out for the puddles.

On another note, religion has everything to do with the topic of abortion. Religious people are intolerant and power hungry and they go to great lengths to take control of our bodies because of their beliefs. And that right there is the exact problem in the US: they want to legislate a health matter according their own religion. Now I don’t have a problem with people who mind their own business; the people I take issue with are those among you who are trying to force your beliefs and dogma on us. We leave you alone…why can’t you reciprocate? More importantly, why do any of you have this twisted notion that you have the right to quash everything that offends your beliefs without regard to the billions of people on this rock who disagree with you?

I feel like a broken record. You arrogant jerks think you’re special. I agree that you are, but its more of a kid-with-helmet-on-the-tart-cart special than anything else. You people need to learn your place and quit acting like you’re some sort of authority because of your faith, because it really makes you look like the ignorant f*cktards you are.

If Religion plays no role in politics, please tell me why you want to control my uterus, if not because your cult says its naughty. Don’t worry, I’ll wait.

    Melissa,

I don’t really take issue with the fact that you stand on the woman’s right to choose. It is WHEN that right to choose ends that is the problem. Women have the right to choose when and when not to have sex, and if you choose to do so, you had better be prepared watch the workings of the human body unfold. Thinking that you can just be carefree with your body and shirk the responsibility of a sexual relationship also means you forgo the right to choose after conception. At that point, your body has already committed itself to conceiving a child, and those are just the facts. This isn’t about how close we can get to the line, it is about responsibility. The attitude that says we just won’t care has already been started by this recent generation of parents who are addicted to video games and TV, and look where it gets us. I’m sorry, but when a woman touts her right to choose AFTER she already chose to have sex, with or without protective measures, I can’t take it seriously.

    Hello,

Good blog. I appreciate your point of view.

I agree with some of your blog. Disagree with most of it.
I’m only going to look at one point for the sake of time. When your talking about “marketing” and “image”. I very much agree that most of us are very succeptable to marketing. I work at a high school. Just stop by any ol high school in America and look at what the kids are wearing and there you go.

I tend the think that the Republican party has had a stronghold on this area though, its just that I believe the American people have sort of caught up with them in this election. In my lifetime I’ve witnessed 3 GOP presidents. I’m still waiting for that party to deliever on ANYTHING they have ever run on. From 1980-1992 and from 2000-2008, we saw our government get alot bigger actually. It only got smaller under a democrat. Proof is in the pudding at this point for me. John McCain used to be perhaps my favorite Rep, simply because he did stand up to his party. This campaign has proved he has little backbone. If he wanted to win this election, and he still might cause I have a great distrust of the election process. If John McCain wanted votes, he should have said right from the start “the Republican parties policies have failed”. Only recently did he enumerate how he differed from W.

Its my opinion that is an extremely complex election. I voted this week for BO. I believe I made the right choice. Afterall, we all believe that or we wouldn’t cast our votes. In the end I think we are seeing the negative by products of both fically libral systems and unreglation on the conservative end. I think BO is thoughtful. He is smart. You don’t graduate cum laude from the Harvard school of Law without some serious hard work and grey matter. I believe BO will approach these problems that our nation is facing with the same thoughtfulness and diligence.

Thank you for allowing me to comment.

    Justin,

You would have a point if you didn’t just imply every pregnancy is a result of a deliberate decision and that only whores want abortion as an option. Let me guess: you don’t possess babymaking parts. Big shock.

On my planet, pregnancy can be known to threaten the life of the mother, birth control sometimes fails, and rapes happen every day…not to mention the fact that nobody really hopes for a disfigured or retarded child. Most women (myself included) would mourn such a pregnancy the same way they would the death of a child, but a lot of women (myself included) would also find it morally wrong to continue such a pregnancy, because NOT terminating the pregnancy equates to not really giving a shit that you’re handing down a life sentence to an innocent child. Most parents, if not all, want the very best for their child and would find it reprehensible to find out early on that there was some sort of devastating defect yet continue selfishly on anyway. Religion enters the debate at this point, because some would argue that their deity always has a reason and a plan, but who can live with that? Who would want to? It seems a bit f*cked up to just….accept that your lord has decided you don’t get to have a normal baby. It seems insane to believe a just god would deliberately handicap a child, doesn’t it? The nutjobs would have us believe all these genetic mutations and diseases like spina bifida and of course the rape-babies(!) are all part of the plan, and I find that morally reprehensible.

Naturally, this brings us back to the “Lesser of Two Evils” argument. Lets see….piss off the conservatives or decide to make a child, yourself, and your family suffer because some higher power’s gonna spank you if you don’t choose misery.

Unless I’m missing something, I personally find it very clear which choice is obvious, and I will stand up to anyone who wants to take that choice away; they don’t have to live my life.

    Melissa,

I’m not sure that continuing on with you will accomplish any good. I highly doubt you will change your position no matter how devastating my points may be to your stand. But, you asked, so I will try to respond to your points. And your insulting tone is totally uncalled for and only makes you look like a bitter, harsh woman, losing opponents often resort to insults when they have no debating ammunition. But I doubt you will change that either.

Quote: “Religious people are intolerant and power hungry and they go to great lengths to take control of our bodies because of their beliefs.”

Actually, you are describing liberals to a tee. They have no tolerance for dissent from their views. They will insult you, belittle you, but rarely argue powerfully against you. They also want to control other people’s lives, hence, you get governmental intervention in the most unfree (is that a word?) ways imaginable- they are considering making it illegal to smoke in your own apartment in California, or to walk on the sidewalks while texting. What liberals often do is project their actions onto their opponents in debate. I want no power over you and I tolerate you, even when you’re messages are filled with vitriol and scorn. I just don’t want you to grievously hurt another human being.

Quote: “You think you have the right to quash everything that offends your beliefs without regard to the billions of people (who disagree with you).”

Actually there are undoubtedly many things you do that offends my beliefs that I am not trying to quash. I don’t badger you to drive more carefully or attend the kind of worship service or wash your socks frequently, I want nothing of the sort. I just don’t want you killing a baby.

Quote: “Please tell me why you want to control my uterus.”

You can do anything you want with your uterus as long as you don’t initiate force on another innocent human being.

Now, Justin actually made some good points. He is basically talking about 98% of the abortions in America which are done solely for reasons of convenience. You are talking about the 1 or 2% of the “hard cases”. I would be willing to consider allowing abortion for the hard cases such as rape, incest or when a mother is very close to dying if she gives birth, not that damnable “emotional health” clause . but not for a baby’s physical defects either.

Quote: “a lot of women (myself included) would also find it morally wrong to continue such a pregnancy”

Your argument here actually carries a lot of weight. Why saddle a child and its family with the terrible suffering it may bring if it has a grave defect? Makes sense, to voluntarily cause such suffering would be cruel and harsh. But the point you’re confused on is by the time you find about the baby’s birth defect the baby is already alive. The situation you are trying to prevent is already existing, there is no way to prevent that which has already happened. So at this point it is immoral to kill this child strictly because it is physically defective.

To do so would be stating that defective people have no right to life. It would be like Hitler’s eugenics and his extermination of handicapped people in German and beyond. I, myself have a congenital defect in my neurology, does that mean I should be put to death? Well, then, neither should the defective child.

It is never being a good parent when you kill your growing baby.

While I like your website, your political views have obviously been tainted by the “liberal media”.
U.S. media are rapidly being monopolized by a dwindling number of parent corporations, & each of them have conservative economic agendas. The media are also critically dependent upon corporations for advertising. As a result, the news almost completely ignores corporate crime, as well as pro-labor and pro-consumer issues. Surveys of journalists show that the majority were personally liberal in the 1980s, but today they are centrists, with more conservatives than liberals on economic issues. However, no study has proven that they give their personal bias to the news. On the other hand, the political spectrum of pundits — who do engage in noisy editorializing — leans heavily to the right. The most extreme example of this is talk radio, where liberals are almost nonexistent. The Fairness Doctrine was designed to prevent one-sided bias in the media by requiring broadcasters to air opposing views. It once enjoyed the broad support of both liberals and conservatives. But now that the media have become increasingly owned and controlled by corporations, conservatives defiantly oppose the Fairness Doctrine. This is probably the best proof that the media’s bias is conservative, not liberal.

With the help of John McCain, George Bush has grown the government more than any president in history. He has spent more money, he has hired more people, he has expended into more countries, expended the power of the presidency, he has taken away more freedoms than any president in history. (His supporters have also killed more innocent people than any president in recent history.) Clinton has wet dreams about the kind of money that the Republicans have spent. Which is the small government party? Come on man, are you out of your mind? Don’t get me wrong, all government people scare me, but McCain’s experience at stealing from me and taking away my freedoms scares me more than Obama’s plans do (most of which will never get enacted, face it.)

The reason why government does not work is that the country is filled with a right of entitlement. I dont have to look for a job because Ill collect unemployment, I dont have to worry if I can afford another child the governemnt will support it if I cant. This attitude even extends to outside the United States. Every disaster or unrest our troops go and we foot the bill with cash and lives. The UN which is our troops and military equipment services the world. So excuse me, I would like change too, but Obama sure wont do anything about these issues because they are at the heart of the Democratic Party.

What if..it was President-elect John Mccain? which Mccain would show up? After all, at one time or another, he’s been on EVERY side of EVERY issue. Check out this link to ssee a small subset of McCain’s Flip Flops:
    http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/15227.html

Gotta admire the intellectual gymnastics of a man who can vote against his own bills in the Senate or, is both for and against abortion; for and against gay marriage; was opposed to the Bush tax cuts, now is vehemently against them; criticized Jerry Falwell in 2002 as “an agent of intolerance” but now seeks his (and received) his endorsement! The only reason he espouses his current right wing views now is because he has to pander to the far right Republicans to get elected ( insert Sarah Palin here…).

This is a man who has spent his entire political career pandering to the other side to get get elected and to pass his legislation. The reason he has “reached across the isle” to get things done – his own political party cant stand him!

And, i fully would have expected McCain to have appointed CONVICTED DOMESTIC TERRORIST G. Gordon Liddy to a top level Cabinet position. Maybe say, CONVICTED CROOK Charles Keating for Secretary of the Treasury – nothing like a crooked banker to oversee the full de-regulation of the banks and Wall Street, ehh? (Since that de-regulation thing works so well for the banks!).

    And expect

Boy! The debts McCain would have to pay back if got elected President! All those Lobbyists that he put into top level campaign positions will be requiring payback… Lobbyists, VP candidates waiting in the wings to stab him in the back, convicted criminals to appoint to high level positions. I dont think we could have afforded a McCain administration, much less a possible subsequent Sarah Palin administration. Thank God for President-Elect Barack HUSSEIN Obama!
