Does anyone have experience with either one of these? I know you talk a lot about Thrive but from what I’ve seen these make the plugins like course creation and others much simpler. I could be wrong though because I have never seen the backend. If anyone has experience with either of these are there any drawbacks?

I know next to nothing about BuilderAll, which is interesting given I’m in the business. So, sounds like a pretty small-time solution.

ClickFunnels is very well known and indeed a good platform. That said, you pay through the nose for it.

I like Thrive because it is quite capable, you own everything because it is on your site, and it is quite cost effective. I am no longer using Thrive on this site, but still use it on others.

If you could go into more detail of what you intend to build, I can help you out on the software selections. But, know that I’m definitely a proponent of building a platform you own and control, not one hosted on an expensive third-party like ClickFunnels.

I’ve been on and use ClickFunnels pretty extensively for one of my clients and have gone through their certification program back when they first launched it. If you have a lot of money, it’s a fine solution for getting pages setup relatively quickly and is for the most part pretty reliable. It is really expensive, though. For my own projects, I don’t use it anymore since it’s hard to justify the cost when there’s perfectly reasonable ways to get the same functionality for much cheaper.

I do find that we only use the landing page functionality pretty much, though. Their membership sites, affiliate program, and their email marketing solutions that they have built into their platform all leave something to be desired so while I’ve used all of those features in the past, I don’t any more.

You can make pretty good money promoting CF as an affiliate though, to be clear, it’s just not a great tracking and reporting system at least as of the last time we tried it for your own products.

Happy to answer any specific questions. Not familiar with Builderall though, so can’t help there.
