Friends,
One of my blogs is a personal ministry blog. I was thinking of putting a donate button at the end of every post. I am wondering if there is a plug (such as a footnote plugin) that might be able to do this.
I would write a message and then add the button.
Also, would it be better to have the donate button on the sidebar or on the bottom of each post?
The donate button woudl be more like a button that said, “Buy me a cup of coffee.”
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Just doing a quick search, I came up with this (seems to have been updated in 2020): https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-wordpress-donation-plugins/
Bottom of every post automatically would require revising your standard blog template to include that at the bottom (just above comments, for example), or maybe you could include a link in your Author bio to a single donation page. Sidebar will technically be easier.
Kind of depends what theme you’re using, too. You could even use something like Thrive Leads to stick a donation button in there.
