  • FluentCRM, Subscribers unable to send emails

Posted by Kriti Dutta on August 15, 2022 at 12:12 pm

Hello David, in FluentCRM my subscribers are unable to reply to email I send them. I contacted their support, they are asking for login details for my hosting account. I am not comfortable in sharing that. Do anyone faced a similar problem in FluentCRM? If yes, let me know. Also should I share my hosting account details with them?

Hey there, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

So, the ability for people to reply back to emails you send from FluentCRM doesn’t have anything to do with FluentCRM. Basically, it is up to you to make sure that the email address you send FROM is a valid address that will actually deliver to you if people use it.

So, go to FluentCRM settings, Email Settings, and make sure the “From Email Address” is correct and valid.

They are correct in saying they would need to get into your hosting account to make sure your reply address is correct. Because, that’s where (assumedly) your email addresses are controlled.

I don’t know where you’re hosted, but some hosts allow you to set up secondary logins for people.

Or, if you trust me to do it, you can submit a tech request and I’d be happy to look into it for you.
