So I’ve been with Bluehost for my website he last few years. I’ve never really had any issues, although I’m not building on a membership site as a sub domain so I’m wondering if it’s worth upgrading to something better?
I believe Dave recommends WPX hosting which seems to get great reviews for support and speed etc. However it’s still a shared hosting option and not VPS. For a VPS solution I’ve heard good things about Liquid Web.
Thoughts?
Who do you use?
Are you happy?

I moved on from WPX. Still a good company, but I switched to Cloudways. And they do VPS. IF you want a VPS, they are really good. So much capability and speed and horsepower for the money. Even their cheapest account will blow the snot off almost any shared hosting plan from the likes of Bluehost.

Not a necessity, no. However, definitely more horsepower for your money. With Cloudways, for instance, you can get a VPS as cheap as $10/month. Which is cheaper than Siteground after the initial intro period. And a VPS will blow Siteground away in terms of speed.
