No-pitch money-makers to your list

Have you ever run out of things to send to your email subscribers?

Even better… you’d like to send something out to them that can make some sales for you, but you don’t want to constantly pitch to them. Nobody likes pitch-fest email lists. I sure don’t.

So, what can you do?

Well first, let’s review what a super-basic sales funnel might look like.

  1. Lead magnet (via a blog post or a landing page).
  2. Tightly related upsell offer (usually a front-end sale of some kind).
  3. Upsells (how many us up to you)

So, pretty basic stuff. But, notice that this setup begins with a lead magnet. In other words, you’re giving them something for free. THEN, if they go for it, you present an offer to them they might actually be interested in due to the lead magnet they just grabbed.

The lead magnet can be offered up on a dedicated landing page… or a blog post. And what do you do with that thing?

Email it to your list.

Note that you email them to the opt-in… DO NOT just send them the lead magnet download. You want them to actually take an ACTION to raise their hands and say “yes” to this thing.

Email your list and offer them up the free download. If they take action on it, they’ll see your offer. Some may buy.

This is a nice way to email your list something that can make money, but without outright pitching them constantly.

This is also a good reason why you’d want to have more than one lead magnet to offer up. Nobody wants to see the same thing over and over again.

If I were you, I’d be regularly producing new lead magnets and coupling them with some kind of offer. And email it out to your general list periodically.

Especially when you don’t have something else obvious to email them.
