Most agencies that do development services for WordPress usually want to blimp up and overcomplicate things. And you have no idea what you’ll be spending before going into it. Worse, you have to contact them and get into all the details of your project and listen to their “sweet talk”. Only to get a fatty estimate and a sales pitch. You don’t want any of that. Plus, they usually overestimate those things to cover their bases.

I like to keep things simple and flexible. Put credits on your account. Pricing is upfront. And then we get the work done. You’re kept in the loop the whole time. Pay as you go.

There are no contracts. No “free strategy calls” where I’m going to then try to sell you on a multi-thousand dollar project.

I like to keep things flexible – both for you and for me.

So, I work on a simple credit system. Anytime Credits can be used either for strategy calls or tech service… this way we can even schedule a call together to discuss your project if you need to.

Credits go on your account and they do not expire. Roughly speaking, a credit is equal to about an hour of work. But, keep in mind… I can work pretty fast here. An hour by me isn’t the same as an hour by somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing.

I’ve spoken to too many people who have had bad experience with other service providers who misled them. Charged them a bunch of money and created a site which, unfortunately, was too difficult to manage.

Worse, some agencies build things in such a way where you become reliant on them completely. You end up feeling “stuck”.

That is very much against my philosophy. I believe in digital sovereignty. I want you to feel empowered with your own website. I want you to be in control at all times. I’m hear to help you, but I have no interest in you becoming reliant on me for every little thing.

You have my word that I will always advise you in your best interest. I will never try to take advantage of you. I will treat your site just like I would if it were mine.

My approach to technical services is not to give concrete upfront estimates. Instead, you can purchase credits with upfront pricing and we’ll use those credits toward “pay as you go” services. Then, we can do big things or small things… depending on your needs.

Estimates take up a lot of time. It incentivizes agencies to overestimate and you therefore almost always end up paying more. It also incentivizes agencies to go into “sales mode” to try to close the deal and that’s not particularly enjoyable for anybody.

So, I keep things simple. Tech services here are “pay as you go”. Credits are available using upfront pricing. You’re in control the whole time. No commitments. Easier for everybody.

Well, I can give you my “gut feeling” on it if you want to get in touch with me. But, in the end, my clients are always better served using this credit approach than if they were to work with another company that does upfront estimates.

I go pretty fast. I use tools I’m very familiar with so we don’t waste time.

It is highly variable. On the low-end, I once re-built 3 smaller websites for a client and converted him from Thrive Themes to Kadence and those 3 sites took about 3 hours (and hence 3 credits). He wasn’t a Concierge client, so he paid $375 for those 3 hours. But, $375 to fully re-build 3 websites? Not a bad deal for him. 😇

On the other end, I also helped another client migrate his marketing funnels and list out of Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) and into FluentCRM. It involved re-building all his automations, getting all his tagging right, re-building emails, re-building sales funnels, and more. It was quite the project. Over the course of several months, he probably used about 40 credits for that project.
