Do credits expire?
No. As of now, credits do not expire on your account. So you can purchase them and use them immediately… or 6 months from now. They’ll still be there.
If I’m on a Care Plan, do I need credits on my account?
Every Care Plan includes certain core services each month. But for extended development work on your site, or to book calls, clients use Anytime Credits.
Pro and Platinum include hands-on time each month (1 hour on Pro, 3 hours on Platinum) toward development work, edits, or calls. In those cases, no credits are needed. Once time goes past what your plan includes for the month, credits come into play… at your plan’s discount.
Are credits refundable?
I’ll refund unused credits within 30 days. Once services have been performed and a credit debited, there are no refunds for those credits. And I don’t offer refunds past 30 days because, frankly, it really messes up the accounting.
What if a task doesn’t take a full hour? Do you do partial credits?
For hands-on work, a credit is roughly an hour of dedicated focus on your site. But some tasks don’t take an hour… plus, I’m pretty fast at things. So I keep a log of partial time, and only make a debit when we’ve reached the full hour.
Example: a task takes 15 minutes. I log it. A few days later, another task takes 45 minutes. At that point, one credit is debited to cover both.
