Why I Don’t Do Estimates… And What I Do Instead
Most WordPress agencies don’t know exactly how long a job will take. So they over-estimate… padding for the unknowns, and for the time it takes to write up the estimate. You end up over-paying.
That approach also doesn’t work well for smaller jobs, or for projects you haven’t fully planned out yet. Sometimes you just want someone who can help you get things done… even before you know what you don’t know.
So I don’t do big, official estimates. I use Anytime Credits instead.
About an Hour Each
One credit equals roughly an hour of hands-on time on your site, or a private 1-on-1 call.
Fair Tally
If a request only takes 15 minutes, I keep a running tally. A credit isn’t debited until the full hour is used.
